About Me

My name is Naser Al Marzouqi and I am 24 years old I was born on the 6th of May 1984. I was born in Abu Dhabi and it is where I live with my parents and brothers. I have four brothers and one sister.

In 1987, when I was three years old, I lived in Qatar with my aunt and sister because my sister was studying there for two years. After two years, I came to Abu Dhabi and started my education. In the beginning I did not like school because I had to wake up early in the morning and sleep early at night which was difficult for me to do. Indeed, my mother faced a lot of difficulty with me because of that but after a few months I was wont to wake up early. I went to primary school in Bani Yas because we were living there. Then I studied in Abdulqader Aljazairi school in Al Shahama where we are living at the moment.

When I finished preparatory school, I entered the ATI (ADNOC Technical Institute) where I spend three and a half years learning theory and practice. There were four majors to select from: operations, electronics, electrical and mechanical. I chose the last of these and graduated in June 2003.

I started my career in October 2003 in GASCO (Abu Dhabi Gas Industry) as a mechanical technician. I was working for the company in their NGL plant (Natural Gas Liquid) which located in Ruwais when they opened a new training center in Habshan. I volunteered to join the GTTC (GASCO Technical Training Center) because the training was in the plant so I thought it was good for me to learn about my job while I was there. I spent two years there and then returned to the Ruwais plant after I graduated. After that I worked as a mechanical technician for one year before I came to the HCT (Higher Colleges of Technology) in Abu Dhabi.

I have been studying in the HCT since September 2006. I am going to study engineering to be an important mechanical engineer in the future. The studying in the HCT is not hard as many people think but also not too easy. However, it is hard work for the students to reach their goal and graduate with high grade. I am looking forward to graduating with a high GPA and I will work hard for it.
